Please note that every accredited course requires qualifications in Anatomy and Physiology, Business and Professionalism, and First Aid (not necessarily prior to the course, but before a certificate can be awarded). All postgraduate CPD courses require a sound qualification from an accredited school for entry.

Acupressure for beginners

A 2-day course that teaches how to select points for common ailments and discusses, in detail, their application to promote healing. It is an increasingly popular addition to mainstream massage techniques and can bring fast and effective relief from many conditions.

Advanced massage techniques

This 2-day intensive course is for the experienced therapist who has preferably completed the intermediate massage course. It teaches advanced massage skills to further enhance practice and give a thorough ÔtoolboxÕ of massage techniques to tackle almost any problem you may encounter in everyday practice.
The course involves:
Neuro-muscular technique, massage mediums and essential oils, passive movements, introduction to acupressure and shiatsu techniques, muscle energy techniques and trigger points. This course is of a practical nature with lots of massage practice.

Classical Tui Na massage

An in-depth, beneficial 2-day course. After an elementary introduction to the Chinese Medicine theory, the course teaches classical Tui Na bodywork techniques, using the 14 most used acupressure points, indications and locations. This massage is extremely beneficial for improving mobility and fleibility. A fascinating course for those who wish to expand their massage repertoire in a different and sensitive way.

Hot stone massage

This 1-day CPD course will begin with a historical introduction to the basic principles of using heated stones. Massage techniques will be demonstrated and practiced, using the hot stones to relieve stress and tension in the body. There will be in-depth discussion of the healing benefits and contra-indications of this therapy and its practical application, as well as informaton on how to care for the stones. This intensive day is available to students who have massage experience and wish to enhance their practice.

Muscle testing as a diagnostic tool

A 1-day course showing students how to use simple muscle tests to assess many aspects of the body, including the lymphatic, skeletal, internal organs and the meridian systems, along with testing for food intolerance and stress.

Sports and Remedial Massage

This 2-day course is for experienced therapists wishing to add sports and remedial massage skills to their practice and covers the following subjects: review of essential anatomy; effects of exercise on the body; importance of warm up and cool down when exercising; managing a sports injury; warm up and cool down massage routines; Neuro Muscular Technique; Intrasound Massage; massage mediums and essential oils used for sports massage and home treatment. It is necess-ary to complete 3 case studies after the course.

Thai massage workshop

An amazing 2-day course teaching the basic skills of the beneficial and traditional Thai Massage. It is used for relaxation, normalising of energy flow and increased mobility. The stretching techniques are invaluable. Students applying for this course should have a reasonable level of fitness due to the effort needed during the exercises.
